WHO ARE YOU?
Why are you here?
Have you ever asked yourself that question?
Has anyone ever asked you that question?
I will also ask this: has anyone ever asked you that question more than once on the same day? Can you imagine someone asking you the same question 12 to 13 times an hour? 14 to 16 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year?
And if that isn’t scary enough. Can you imagine that person being a mother who brought you into this world? Who nurtured you to become a grown adult, and to whom you now devote your daily life? Have you ever heard the expression “It’s better to give than to receive”?
The “why” of my philosophy.
A few days ago. I wrote a post on one of my social media profiles to the effect of just keep moving. But don’t forget “why” you got started. And, for the past few days, I have been seriously reflecting on my journey online. and why I got started in the first place.
.

Which primarily wаѕ tо honor and create a remembrance of my mum. Who suffered for years with dementia аѕ a complication of diabetes. But also as a way of giving myself a voice and a release.
However, as has happened a number of times over the past 9 years. Since she has passed away (actually, last month, June, would have marked exactly that period). Hence, the reflective frame of mind. I found myself being sidetracked again despite a previous article I had written. “Business is not for you,” and focus more on money and making money. And less on trying to help others, as I hаd vowed to do. More so because my mom’s illness was both financially and emotionally draining.
Understanding my physiological why.
Whether it was and still is to this day waking up at 3:30 or 4 am to the cacophony of noise from the fowl cocks outside. As they sing their chorus of welcome to the new day.
Or the brilliance during which total darkness becomes different shades of gray. Then it is transformed into the most brilliant natural pinks, oranges, and tangerines that one can witness. As the sun makes its grand appearance at the start of another day.
Or quietly sitting under a Casuarina tree in blazing sunshine during the middle of the day. As the wind plays its sweet melodies through the branches of the tree. Or equally extraordinary, sitting under the shade of a tree on the beach. Taking in the brilliant diversity of blues and aquamarine as nature does its work. With the waves rushing to shore and caressing the golden white sand.

Do what you enjoy.
Then there is my favorite, sitting on my beloved tower in the evenings. Gazing out over the vast array of land below. As the sun’s majestic grace lengthens its shadow over the vast ocean before me. With a potpourri of orange and red, it has completed its day’s work. Giving an example of another brilliant display before it disappears from view.

And if that were all, I would still be grateful. But later, I can lie on my back and look up into heaven. With the millions of stars displayed in otherworldly total darkness. And acknowledge that, truly, there is a divine power out there far greater and bigger than I am.
Then I have guaranteed thanks. For being able to process thoughts, which allows me. To be able to understand my love of wisdom and the beauty of it all. So consciousness can materialize feelings, emotions, and actions.

Living your philosophy.
So over the next few days and weeks. As I strive to understand fundamental truths about myself. The world in which I live and my relationships with the world and others around me. I will be streamlining and restructuring my online presence to better reflect my initial intent and philosophy of helping others. I will keep using my motivational quotes for inspiration. But you will experience a lot more of the natural beauty, which I enjoy.
Thanks for putting up with my ramblings, so here’s to the best health, wealth, and happiness for you. Cheers
